Manifestation is definitely a buzzword right now! Could manifestation be real? Can you manifest travel or is it all a hoax? 

I am someone who completely transformed my life through the powers of manifestation. In 2010 I was waiting tables, just getting by, and since has learned how to manifest my travel dreams into reality.

As of 2023, I’ve traveled to over 40 countries, have lived in 2 foreign countries, and am manifesting owning a multi-six-figure business. 

I didn’t even go to college. So I know from personal experience that manifestation is a powerful tool to call in the travel experience you desire as well as the life you truly want. 

The Definition of Manifestation 

Manifestation is the belief that you can create your reality and attract what you desire by focusing on positive thoughts and aligned actions. 

It is about creating a vision in your mind of what you want to experience, believing it will come true, actively working towards making it happen, and being open to receiving it. 

The power of manifestation lies in your ability to focus your energy on what you want, instead of on what you don’t want. 

But to be honest that is a little more to it than the stock standard answer above. The process to manifest lies deep within your subconscious beliefs of what you truly feel you are worthy enough to receive.

Raising Your Self-Worth In Order To Manifest 

The truth is if you want something like a trip to Copenhagen, but in your SUBCONSCIOUS mind believe that it isn’t possible for you, it won’t materialize. 

You hear people say things like “I’ll never be able to fly first class” or ” I am not lucky enough to get X”. And those people would be exactly right.

If you are telling the universe and confirming to yourself that you’ll never have these things. Spoiler alert. You won’t get them. 

On the other hand, it is not as simple to say, I will fly first class and then it happens right away. It doesn’t exactly work in the instant you declare it, although for some things it can happen fast. 

The reason why people immediately often say things like “I’ll never, or I won’t ever” is because they have a core belief that likely they learned in childhood that good things just don’t happen to people like them. 

It is a core self-worth wound that needs some major healing in order to manifest the dream life.

Overview of the Process of Manifesting Travel 

Below is going to be an overview of what you can expect to do in order to manifest the trip of your dreams. 

Get Clear on The Dream Trip What You Want 

The universe likes you to be specific, so when conjuring up the trip of a lifetime, be extra clear on what you want.

Or ask the universe for help! For example, maybe you need help deciding between Florence and Verona. Look out for signs or gradual feelings towards one or the other.

Once you are clear, get the details down of what you are calling in.

Being specific could like look this: 

• I am calling in a trip to the Greek Island of Crete, specifically to the town of Chania for under X amount. 
• My dream vacation is a solo trip to Athens Greece where I am able to immerse myself in the Greek language.

I personally took my manifestations one step further and manifested my move to Athens, Greece in 2023.

State The Vision and Travel Goals for the Trip 

• I envision this trip to Chania to be a relaxing reset where I am able to connect with myself and de-stress from the past few months. 
• I will stay within my set budget of X amount for this trip. All the activities and excursions I have planned for myself will come in under the budget I set for myself. 

Decide Where You Would Like to Go and What You Would Like to Do

• On this trip, I will be visiting the pink sand beaches of Elffonsi Beach and dining at Solis in Chania. 
•  I will make short day trips around the island of Crete such as a visit to Rethymno. 
• I will stay in the best area of Crete for solo travelers. 

Start to Organize Your Trip Ideas in a Journal or With a Visualization Board 

Honor whatever process of organizing your ideas feels best for you. This could be writing in your journal about the travel research you have done.

Or one of my favorite ways is to create a digital dream board with Pinterest. 

If cutting out pictures of iconic destinations from travel magazines sounds best for you, then sip away! There is no wrong way to work with this process. 

Manifest Travel & Your Dream Vacation By Taking Action

When you get to this step in the process something you will need to call in is faith. You are going to need to believe this is possible for you. 

When you set off to manifest the stuff of bucket lists and unique journeys, there are action steps you want to take to align with your desires. 

A great example would be to put in time off from work for the intended trip. Even if you haven’t organized a single thing for this trip yet.

The first powerful step can be to set the time off for it in stone. 

Start Researching Travel Arrangements & Calling In Specifics 

An example of how you manifest travel specifics would be that boutique hotel with a private pool under a certain amount of money per night. 

Your list would look like, a boutique hotel in Chania that is within half a mile of the beach that has a private pool for under $150 a night. 

For all your travel needs you get specific and definite in what you are looking for in your dream destinations. 

An example from my solo travels was a trip I was taking to Rhodes. I wanted very much to stay at this hotel Cook’s Club Rhodes, but they were full for the time I was going.

Expect for 1 room that was totally out of my budget. 

I contacted the hotel and let them know I was very interested in staying at the hotel and if they could let me know if there were any cancellations. 

Five days later the hotel contacted me with an update that someone canceled and that if I reserved now and paid in full they would offer me a 10% discount totaling the room cost just under the max budget I set! 

Get Into the Right Mindset to Manifest Travel

Another buzzword these days is mindset. Mindset is said to be responsible for all the energy in our lives. 

It can be a tricky topic that can cause a lot of anxiety. You don’t want to be worried if you have a bad day or a negative thought that you are just screwed and pushing all your manifestations away. 

I don’t believe that negative thoughts are bad, they are just indicators that something is off. We can use them to recenter ourselves. 

For me, when feelings or thoughts of doubt or fear arise, I have to take note and decide how I am going to address the root of the issue.

Let Go of Any Fears and Limiting Beliefs 

When you first start to dive into the power of manifesting and are planning to manifest travel plans, a lot of limiting beliefs can show up to rain on your parade. 

Thoughts like, there is no way this is going to work, you’ll never find that for a hotel with a view for x amount. I could go on. 

The truth is we all experience this no matter how successful or how many times we have a positive experience. I think fear is just a part of the human experience.

It matters how we cope and get through these moments. Tomorrow is always a new day where we triumph and attract the success or result we are after. 

Be Open to Magical Opportunities & Unexpected Experiences 

I have adapted a whole new mindset through my experience with manifestation. Life has taken me on some major twists and turns through a series of experiences. 

When I was 30 and calling in a new life, I managed to manifest travel to take me there. I am a completely different person than I was before I started to solo travel.

It has been a powerful tool for me to become more confident and resourceful in this world.

9. I am open to receiving unexpected travel opportunities that will enhance my personal growth and happiness.
10. I embrace the joy and excitement of planning and manifesting my dream travel itineraries.
